Clinton's 3rd Annual
Quilt Walk
This is a free event for all!
We have partnered with Clinton Main Street and the Clinton Tourism Board to host an event for all. Participating shops will be open 10 AM - 4 PM Friday and Saturday, April 1-2, and will have a free block pattern available.
Register and pick up your passport at the JC Smith Park on the south side of the square. Shops and windows throughout downtown will be filled with quilts made by local quilters and/or loved by local families.
In addition, join us for some of the other events.
These will all be located in the Banquet room of the Elks Lodge on the north side of the square. There is an elevator to the Banquet room on the 2nd floor.

Workshop with Dawn Heese
Link: Big Stitch Quilting with Dawn Heese
Dig out those quilt tops and get started quilting. In this workshop we will work on mastering hand quilting with the Big Stitch method. This method uses all the same principles as fine hand quilting with a larger needle and pearl cotton. All the basics of basting and marking and choosing a design will be covered. You don’t have to be an expert to hand quilt your own quilts. Keep it simple and consistent. Samples of various quilted projects will be on hand for reference as well. Feathered wreath stencil will be provided.
