"Circle of Friends" is a nice sized wall hanging featuring 6" blocks alternating wool applique on cotton with pieced blocks. You will make 3 blocks each month and put it together with a simple sashing and half-square triangle borders on two sides. Check out the sample that Ruth and Mary made and have hanging in the studio. Cost is $25 registration and $10 a month for 12 months. Space is limited so call or come in soon. Program will start Saturday, September 18th at 9 AM and continue each 3rd Saturday.
 
Mary has been busy ordering new projects, notions, patterns, and fabric. She has scheduled a special class on Saturday, September 18th with Joyce Holley, a Studio 180 certified instructor. Joyce did a trunk show featuring quilts made with Deb Tuckers Studio 180 rulers at our very first retreat and everyone loved it. She is back and will teach a new pattern, Hollywood Boulevard, made with the wedge star ruler. Call for more info.
Thank You Everyone
Thank you all for the prayers, cards, and more. You may know I was diagnosed with vulvar cancer in the spring and started chemo and radiation treatments in April. I completed treatmet at the end of June and have been recuperating since then I am glad to be able to return a few hours a day as my strength and endurance improves.
I'll know more about the results of treatment in another month but we have always been optimistic. Thank you all for the prayers, cards, and loving support.
I am so grateful to Mary for all she has done in my absence. So many of you have supported our little shop and we are so appreciative! Ruth and Bev have been a great help,too! We feel the love from everyone.
