Another beautiful day!

What glorious weather!

Mary and I have enjoyed a beautiful Easter weekend and we hope you have as well.  Spring blooms are all around us and birds are chirping early.

We have a few new things in the shop as usual.  There are a few new books and notions but fabric is always the show stopper.

And this first collection is just that!
"Fairy Clocks" by Lewis & Irene is imported from the UK. Dandelion clocks nodding their heads in the breeze. Tiny wings flutter and sparkle in the sun. How many puffs to tell the time? A fabric collection with gold and silver metallic elements with a beautiful double edge border print. Take a looks at these gorgeous prints.

These fabrics are so inspiring! Maybe even a little girl's dress with the borderprint!

Finally! After month's of waiting!
KU and KState fans rejoice! I know. Not the best year for basketball fans but those fans are LOYAL! So check out our 44" quilting cotton in prints designed just for you!

Jayhawkers you can find the fabric here.

And if you are a KState fan look here.

If you have been wanting to do something more traditional this night jus tbe for you! Kathy Schmitz has designed "Maryland" using only black and tans--and it is gorgeous!  Look at this panel featuring 8 printed applique blocks!

Think of what you can do with this panel and the coordinating prints!  Cut up the blocks and add in some pieced blocks for a showy quilt without the time-consuming applique.  Maybe even a table runner! The tan prints are so gorgeous they almost look shine like a metallic.  Moda does it right!
