These are crazy times for sure! Mary and I hope you and your families are all well!
Please heed all the recommendations and stay well!
Maybe you are getting some stitching done!
Mary & I are so appreciative of all the masks that have been donated!
We are continuing to get calls so please keep them coming. Though we have the front door locked we are here most of the day sewing them and other projects as well.
And now that many of the doctors are suggesting we wear the home-sewn masks whenever we are out we may be sewing them for awhile yet.
Mary & I are working on completing some projects but I couldn't help but start a new one or two. We have new books coming but I have an autographed copy from a friend of:
If you love flowers paper-piecing (not English Paper Piecing) you will love this book. She gives you 6" patterns for different flowers, leaves & stems plus lots of inspiration. I have started this:
I am working on the middle row first and have used scraps of ombre fabrics for my tulips and grass. That is working out great! I am using Vanilla Grunge for the background so mine is similar to hers. I think sky blue would be fun! You can mix and match to your heart's content. That little snail and the butterfly are "sew" stinking cute! And this is just one of the quilts in the book. It's a great book!
Lots of designers have free patterns and sew-alongs going on if you need some inspiration. Amy has one starting soon. We expect to have a few books in next week. You can call and we will save one for you and also we would be glad to order for you. Here is the info for her sew-along:
And need a little idea for Easter for the grands? How about this?
