Heres how it works!
Pay $25 to join and receive a pattern notebook and February Kit on the 2nd Saturday (2/8/2020). You will receive a pattern each month for a 12.5" block and enough colored batiks to make the block twice in 2 different color combinations. You will provide your own background each month. This is a great opportunity to choose prints or light batiks from your stash or choose from our specially selected collection of very light batiks. Return each month on the 2nd Saturday at 9:30 AM with your 2 completed blocks, stay for the presentation and receive that month's kit at no additional cost. If you miss the class and/or do not have your completed blocks with you, you can purchase the kit for $6. At the end of the 12 months, you will have 24(12.5" blocks) in colors similar to the picture.
Love our finished quilt? It is 92” X 110”! You have the option of purchasing our 6 (24” Bonus Blocks & the Flying Geese) at an additional cost of $100. The six additional kits will only include the colored batiks. Kits will be available months 2,4,6,8,10, & 12 and will include the colored batiks for bonus 24” setting blocks and flying geese in the border as pictured. (Again, you choose and provide your own background fabric.)

Background:
The designer says it will take 8-10 yards of background for the entire 92X110" quilt but that includes the 3 yards for the border, flying geese background, and binding. So that may help you plan. Example: Use scraps for the background of your blocks and then use one fabric for the border, flying geese backgrounds & binding. That is really what Cheryl is planning. She has about half the quilt blocks done and on the design wall in the Studio if you want to check it out.
And remember, you will have 24(12.5" unfinished blocks) so you can make up your own setting if you choose not to purchase the bonus blocks! And if you make all the blocks and attend all the sessions your charge will be the one-time $25.00!
