Well, I will try not to talk about the weather--but, it seems to be the first topic on everyone's mind! I know I heard Erin Little say there would be sunshine today! But not much here!
Oh, well !
Mary and I have been doing a little sewing this week. And this is on the design board!

Piece the flag blocks, cut the blocks from the panel, that the colors are brighter than some patriotic lines. That gingham is the "bomb"!
What Else is New?

Quilters Select has just sent us a shipment of rulers and it included some new sizes. You know these are the non-skid (yes, really!) ones. We have the new 8.5X24" all purpose ruler. We've been using the 6X24" for cutting yardage and love it. We also have more of those back in stock along with the new 3X18" and the 18" square ruler.
CALLING ALL QUILTERS!
Clinton Quilt Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th from 10 AM-5PM.
Clinton Main Street and White Flower Quilt Shop are planning a day just for you!
First, we need quilts to show. You do not have to belong to a guild. You don't even have to be a quilter. This is an opportunity to exhibit quilts you have made or own.
There will be opportunity to show quilts in various businesses in downtown Clinton and, if weather permits, outside on the courthouse lawn, in some of the green spaces on the square, etc.
Bring a clothesline and clothespins and hang your quilts between the trees on the courthouse lawn. This is informal. Bring some lawn chairs and enjoy the show. Get a group together and sit together. Everyone is responsible for their own quilt so think about how and what you want to display.
Take a break and walk the square. There will be a free block pattern featured from our quilt at each participating location. There will be special events as well. This is a free event for our community and you can be part of it.
